March 10, Drumming Workshop (African Hand Drumming)

Time: 4:00 - 5:30 pm
Class Fee: $15

90 minute class on basics including several authentic West African beats. Appropriate for beginners and experienced drummers.

Saturday, March 10, Drumming Circle

Time: 7 - 8:30 pm
Class Fee: $5

Drums available for use for an additional $5 fee. Everyone will jam together for 90 minutes using any instrument.

Rob Weinberger has been drumming for 35 years. He has performed African, Middle Eastern, and Caribbean music in both New York City and upstate New York since 1991. He believes that hand drumming has unique health benefits for opening energy channels. Also, it is a great way for people to share their individual spirit with others in a communal space of joy and celebration. It's a lot of fun to drum.
