Have you seen the book "Eat This, Not That!" By David Zinczenko, Health Expert for Nutrition? My son pointed out this great coffee table book to me, and now if I stop at let's say Applebees I can check out what menu items are healthy and which ones are not. I see the author has several more titles newly released such as Drink This, Not That!

It makes sense what Mr. Zinczenko writes. One point he suggests is that whoever invented bottled water was a genius. They took water—widely available and practically free—and made a money maker out of it.

Maybe bottled water (is it just municipal water in that bottle??) helps us drink water and not the sugar drinks that are "…making us fat. We're consuming at least a quarter of our daily calories in liquid form—more than 450 calories a day—and that's a major factor in our nation's obesity epidemic." Effortless weight gain.

At the Cortland County Wellness Fair I rode the Cornell bicycle that transferred my pedaling energy into lighting actual light bulbs. The proof was in the pedaling. The new curly Energy Saver lightbulbs REALLY do take less energy to fire up and give off light. So replace those old style bulbs with the new ones to save energy.

Janet and I are taking a short break from massage and skin care services during the month of July and the first part of August. We will be recharging our batteries, developing new services, considering upgrades in equipment, and setting goals for the future of Invigorations. We anticipate that by August, we will be reinvigorated, refreshed, and ready to serve you anew.

Invigorations will be open every morning should you need to purchase Gift Cards, your Dermalogica products, Burts Bees, Cherry Pits, BioFreeze or any other retail product. Other Wellness Center practitioners (Acupuncture, Counseling, Healing Touch & Reiki with Moira, & Electrolysis) will be serving clients as usual so you will see activity.
