Rhonda Marr L.Ac.Vladimir Bobkoff, L.Ac.

Five Thousand Years Of Proven Medicine

Acupuncture is a traditional health care system, generally associated with the Chinese practice of placing very thin needles at specific points in the body. The needles expedite healing by stimulating the body's natural energy flow, in some cases releasing it, in others redirecting it.

Vladimir Bobkoff, LAC practices acupuncture at 1025 Tioga St. Ithaca, NY and at 55 Port Watson St. Cortland, NY. Dr Bobkoff began practicing neurology in Marinsk, Russia in 1972 after graduating from Kemerovo Medical School. He received acupuncture experience in both Siberia and Leningrad. In Leningrad, Dr. Bobkoff ran a private practice combining acupuncture with neurological consultations. Since relocating to the United States in 1989 and graduating from the esteemed New England School of Acupuncture, Bobkoff has been practicing Japanese Acupuncture technique which employs needles that are thinner than the Chinese style - just five times the width of the human hair.

The use of farm- raised medical leeches as a therapeutic tool isn't merely a blood-lifting procedure, leeches secrete a complex mixture of a different biologically and pharmaceutically active substances into very small incisions they make in the skin. These substances provide anesthetic, antibiotic, and anti-clogging effects to the blood.
