Energy Therapies

Reiki and Healing Touch are types of energy therapy. They are techniques for stress reduction and relaxation that also promote healing. This subtle and gentle energy work is powerful on all levels.

The therapist uses a series of flowing hand movement above or on the client’s body connecting with the natural energy system. This process provides a channeling of energy that can restore balance in the energy system to enhance the body’s ability to heal virtually every illness or malady.

Further, there are often other benefits from a treatment that include relaxation and feelings of peace, grounding, and well being; pain relief; a boost to the immune system; a release of blocked emotions; and amplified personal energy levels and creativity. Reiki works well as a complement to other medical or therapeutic techniques.
