Massage Therapy

Kirsten Carter, LMT, NCTMB

Kirsten is from Tully, NY. She graduated from Ithaca College in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama.  She then achieved her professional certificate in Massage Therapy and Health Education from the National Holistic Institute, College of Massage Therapy in San Jose, CA in 2006. She worked at a dental spa and a day spa in the San Francisco Bay area where she practiced an array of modalities such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Pre-Natal, TMJ, Hot Stone, Reflexology and Body Treatments. She is also trained in Shiatsu and energy work.  

Kirsten received her National Certificate in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork in 2009. She earned continued educational hours at the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in Syracuse, NY in 2010 and the New York State license in massage therapy in 2011. She currently holds a certification in CPR and First Aid.

Kirsten's goal is to help each client find a healthy balance within his or her body through the healing power of touch. She believes massage is instrumental in maintaining one's physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.
